An array of birds greeted enthusiasts who went out for their annual autumn bird watch walk in Sheffield.
Many birds made an appearance, including flocks of redwings and skylarks.
Keen photographer Peter Wolstenholme, among the group, said: “We went along Owlthorpe’s award-winning Heritage Trail.
“Eleven enthusiasts, including myself, met local expert bird Pete Brown.
“We saw flocks of redwings flying in from the north east to feed on our winter berries.
“We also recorded jay, green woodpecker, nuthatch, a buzzard mobbed by crows, mistle thrush, lesser blackback gulls, starlings and skylarks.”
