It is that time of year again when The Star is in search of the bonniest baby or most cheeky child with the return of our Cute Kids competition.

The free contest is open to children from newborn up to the age of five, but this year there is a twist – there will be no age categories.

And entering Cute Kids 2014 could not be simpler.

Just fill in the registration form printed in Wednesday’s Star and take it with you to see our Cute Kids photographer and have a professional picture taken.

The photographer will be at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre from Tuesday, August 26, to Saturday, August 30.

And then they will be at Matalan, on Cricket Inn Road, off Sheffield Parkway, from Tuesday, September 2 to Saturday, September 6.

Once you have entered your child, they will appear in our special supplement and over the following weeks you will be able to vote for your favourite.

Entrants will be whittled down to a top 20, and top 10 until the winners are revealed.

One of last year’s cutest kids was Olivia Brownett, from Parson Cross.

The smiling tot, who was 18 months old when she was crowned champion, beat off competition from 300 entrants to capture our readers’ hearts.

Mum Chelsea Allen said: “She can be a little cheeky sometimes but she is adorable.”

To enter, take the registration form from Wednesday’s Star with you when you have your photographs taken.
