Sheffield boasts a wealth of outdoor attractions, where children can enjoy the fresh air and burn off some of their boundless energy.

Meersbrook Park’s attractions include a playground, multi-use games area and gardens, while Hillsborough Park’s playground is a hit with youngsters.
Millhouses Park is a popular choice with its boating lake, café skate park, riverside walk and play area, while the play area and café are also recommended at Endcliffe Park, Hunters Bar.
Graves Park, Norton, also boasts a popular play area and nearby café, as well as an animal farm (open from 9am), where visitors can see chickens, highland cattle and donkeys among many others.
Heeley City Farm (open from 9.30am) is another popular animal attraction, while visitors to Our Cow Molly (open from 11am) at Cliffe House Farm, Dungworth, can see the animals as well as try some of the ice cream made on site from milk from the farm’s own cows.
