‘Endless e-books’

Have your say

A new service aiming to do for e-books what Netflix and Spotify offer for films and music has been launched by Amazon.

Kindle Unlimited offers owners of e-readers like Kindle, or those with the Kindle smartphone app, the chance to download unlimited books for £7.99 a month.

The service’s choice of 650,000 titles includes the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games trilogy.

As well as access to best-sellers, the online retailing giant is pushing the service as a way to discover new reads.

Kindle Unlimited also includes Whispersync for Voice, comprising 2,000 audiobooks.
