Sheffield school pupils have the chance to influence world leaders on how to combat global poverty through the nationwide Shape the Future Schools competition.

Prime Minister David Cameron, who is co-chairing a panel of experts tasked with making recommendations to the United Nations, wants to hear what young people think should be done to improve the lives of over a billion people currently living in extreme poverty.

The entry deadline is March 28, and teachers can submit submissions to the Global Dimensions website at
