ARCHITECTURE students from Sheffield Hallam University have been showing off some unusual creations - fashioned out of timber.
The structures are on display near the Howard pub on Howard Street in Sheffield city centre for a week.
The aim of the project was to examine the use of timber as a sustainable building material and improve the public green space behind the pub. Gabriel Tang, lecturer in architecture at Sheffield Hallam University, said: “We have had a lot of comments from members of the public who seem very interested in the structures.
“Children have been playing around them and people are stopping to take a closer look. It also gave students a hands-on approach.”
