Sheffield University is going on the road this weekend – with three days of mini lectures taking place around the city centre on a double-decker bus.
Some of the university’s youngest and brightest academics will be giving 20-minute lectures on everything from spending cuts to stem cells, and from heart disease to honey bees.
The Mobile University weekend begins tomorrow in Barker’s Pool, moves to The Moor on Saturday and ends its run on Devonshire Green on Sunday.
Each day the lectures run from 11am till 5pm.
The idea is to reveal the latest discoveries and insights the university’s research has to offer.
