University links up with Tokyo

Have your say

STAFF and students from Sheffield University have traded places with their peers from Tokyo University – recently rated among the eight best in the world.

The psychology departments at the two universities are joining forces on a number of projects and a Sheffield party visited Japan to develop further links.

Students from Tokyo in turn visited Sheffield and sat in on teaching sessions.

Professor Gillian Hardy said: “We hope to build more active links with Tokyo and develop some shared research projects and student exchange visits.”
