Union voted the best

STUDENTS at Sheffield University are celebrating after a national survey said it had the best union in the country.

Sheffield also came joint first for its social life and library facilities in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.

Union president Josh Forstenzer said: “We work very hard at improving the student experience year on year and I am thrilled that the creativity and dedication of staff and students is recognised and celebrated by our students.”

Overall the University of Sheffield came second in the country in the annual national student experience survey, up from fourth place last year out of the 113 universities inspected.
