If you’re going to receive special coaching you may as well go for the best!

And that’s exactly what Westbourne School pupil and squash enthusiast Dylan Carter did when he received some exclusive tuition from Sheffield’s Squash British Open and World Open champion Nick Matthew.

Dylan, aged 16 from Greystones, received his championship coaching session from Nick at the Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club.

Dylan will now receive further coaching with a professional at the club before entering his first tournament in May.

Meanwhile fellow pupils at Dylan’s independent school in Broomhill are getting ready for a performance of a different kind - family musical The Wizard of Oz at the Montgomery Theatre in Sheffield city centre.

“Our annual musicals are getting more popular every year,” said director Andy Collis.

“Our school hall simply cannot meet the demand for tickets and we are delighted to have found a venue like the Montgomery Theatre right in the city centre.”

The Wizard of Oz, featuring all the songs from the classic movie, will run on March 27 and 28 at 7.15pm.

For tickets call the school on 0114 266 0374.
