HITLER’S Luftwaffe reduced the streets of Sheffield to a blazing hell on December 11, 1940.
Now, on the 71st anniversary, you can retrace the trail of destruction.
Historian Ron Clayton will lead a two-hour walk round the targets of the Germans’ Operation Crucible, pointing out where the bombs fell.
It starts at 6pm on Sunday, December 11, on the City Hall steps and will end in a pub. The cost is £3.50 adults.
Places will be limited. To book, email email@example.com. Other dates will be available.
