AN OPEN day is being held at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology on Wednesday, April 25, aimed at potential students of all ages.

The event runs from 5pm until 7.30pm at the Rother Valley Campus in Dinnington and is designed to provide a taste of the college experience.

Over 2,000 courses are available from this September, as well as opportunities for apprenticeships with an immediate start.

Principal Gill Alton said: “We are vocational and employment-focused and we are keen to develop career pathways for our students, whether we help move them forward to degree level or offer advice for job hunting.”

Visitors will be treated to a tour of facilities available in the new building which includes first rate classrooms, equipment and IT rooms.
