sixth-FORMERS from a Sheffield special school flew the flag for the city by taking part in an international debate about inclusion.
Students from Bents Green Special School’s post-16 department travelled to Stockholm, Sweden, to take part in the event.
The six students met students from Sweden, Greece, Germany, Spain and Latvia.
Teacher Roger Simmons said: “This was an exciting opportunity for our students. The young people compared their lifestyles with those from the other countries involved and learned about how much their international counterparts are included in everyday life in their respective countries.”
Most of the trip was funded by an EU programme.
