Rain didn’t stop play as 72 players in 18 teams went head to head at the Sheffield High School Golf Day at the Hallamshire Golf Club.

The competition played host to parents, former pupils and friends of the school.

Despite some very bad weather most teams played on and one of the event’s associate sponsors, Hamnett Wealth Management, took the trophy.

In second place Sheffield building and design company Blackthorne put up a fierce fight. Gary Lund won the putting challenge.
