Researchers from the University of Sheffield are conducting a unique study to discover whether activities designed for people aged 65 and over can help them maintain a healthy, happy and fulfilling later life.

The study will explore the benefits of Lifestyle Matters – a community programme which encourages elderly people to participate in a range of activities during weekly meetings support by a trained facilitator.

The study will run for people living in three specific areas of Sheffield starting this summer with Gleadless valley and Hemsworth.
