A scheme in which high school pupils visit primary schools to work with young pupils and deliver safety training has proved a success in and around Sheffield.

E-mentors from the sixth form at Wales High School visited some of their local primary schools to deliver e-safety lessons to year four, five and six pupils.

Georgina Anderson, Josh Gregory and Neal Russell were welcomed to Harthill Primary School, and Maddie Stott, Lucy West and Ryan Fox visited Todwick Primary School.

E-mentors also supported parents’ evenings to help to raise awareness of the importance of staying safe whilst using technology. The e-mentors are recognised by their purple badges.
