Opposition Lib Dem Sheffield councillors have highlighted ongoing delays in delivering tough action to improve safety outside Sheffield schools.
In April, the Labour-run council approved £20,000 of funding to make yellow ‘Keep Clear’ markings legally enforceable. Currently, only 19 of the 173 ‘Keep Clear’ signs across the city carry that legal power.
However, three months later, no more markings are yet enforceable. Coun Colin Ross, Lib Dem deputy leader, said: “Parents want to see action.”
