EVERYTHING that’s sound about science is to be found in a new online magazine created by students at Sheffield University.

Steel Science has gone live with a host of features covering latest developments in technology, medicine, physics and the natural world.

Its first edition looks at how testosterone gel can give cancer survivors a welcome lift, and examines work to create new types of fuel from algae.

The magazine grew out of a new masters course in science and communication, with tutors excited by the quality of the articles the students produced.
