A FREE festival of diversity has been organised by students in Rotherham.

Winterhill School in Kimberworth will throw open its doors for the Creative and Media Diversity Festival on Thursday, March 7, from 2pm.

There will be live music, digital artwork, a National Theatre performance, film and food stalls, all under one roof. Outside, an exhibition made up of 52 pieces of art depicting examples of individuality in the Winterhill community will be set up in the courtyard.

Organiser Amirah Jabar, a member of staff at the school, said: “It’s a celebration of diversity from the diploma group.”
