Pupils’ hopes are sky high

Have your say

YOUNGSTERS’ aspirations at a Doncaster school are sky high - literally.

Pupils at Balby Carr Community Sports and Science College were asked to write their aspirations, hopes and dreams down on a piece of paper at a Year 6 open evening.

The children’s hopes were then attached to balloons which were filled with helium gas, and released into the sky to float away.

In all there were 200 of the balloons released by the school as part of the event.

The blue and white balloons were visible from all around the Weston Road school site.
