STAR scientist Professor Brian Cox is urging Sheffield schools to enter a competition which could win pupils the science lesson of a lifetime.
The search is on for the The Big Bang Class of 2013, designed to inspire the scientists and engineers of the future.
Classes are entered into a prize draw, with the winners seeing the TV scientist rocketing into the winning school on Wednesday, February 6.
In a bid to show just how important maths and science subjects are, Prof Cox’s mind-blowing space workshop will explore everything from the Big Bang and black holes to extraterrestrial life.
He said: “I want to capture the imaginations of these students and show them that science, technology, engineering and maths are the most exciting places to work.”
