A series of open evenings begins this week for school leavers considering post-16 options at Sheffield College.
The first is at Norton College on Thursday from 6pm, with Hillsborough’s following next Monday at the same time.
Peaks College holds its evening on Tuesday, November 12, while Sheffield City College and the Applied Engineering Centre follow, both on Monday, November 18.
Under the spotlight will be full-time courses beginning in September next year.
Young people and their parents will be able to talk to lecturers and careers advisors and tour the facilities.
The college offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses including A-levels and apprenticeships as well as higher education qualifications such as foundation degrees.
It also offers strong careers information and guidance while a team of tutor mentors provide one to one practical support to ensure students stay on track to success.
This year the college launched its innovative study scheme where students choose their own personalised programme of additional work-related, work experience and personal development options alongside their main qualification.
