Demolition work has begun at Rotherham College’s student-run Wharncliffe training restaurant - which is to be completely remodelled over the summer.

The project to refurbish the premises on Percy Street has been given a grant from the Skills Funding Agency.

The aim is to modernise the college and ensure students on work-related courses are training in the most realistic conditions possible.

It is used to train students on catering and hospitality courses in the new designs.
