New course for city teens

YOUTH charity The Prince’s Trust is appealing for Sheffield’s school leavers to take part in a new course to be run this summer.

National Citizen Service is a new, free scheme for teenagers to learn new skills, challenge themselves and make a positive impact in their community during the summer holidays.

Young people will design a project to benefit their local area as well as going on two team-building residential weeks, taking part in outdoor challenges and group activities.

NCS will be run with The Prince’s Trust and The Source in Sheffield, starting July 4.
