It was a double cause for celebration when a lucky Sheffield student scooped the trip of a lifetime as she picked up her exam results.
Tapton School pupil Tyler Reid was the envy of her classmates when she won the grand prize of a holiday to New Zealand in a scratchcard contest run on A-level results day.
The competition was organised by youth travel company STA Travel, which has an office on Devonshire Street in Sheffield, and Tourism New Zealand.
Tyler, aged 17, of Firth Park, went home with two return flights to the country and a Kiwi Experience hop-on-hop-off bus pass which takes in the top sights of both the north and south Islands
She said: “I might take my dad with me – he’s always wanted to go to New Zealand – or I might take a friend. I can’t wait to go. I’d like to chill out, experience the culture. I’m so excited to learn about a new country! I can’t believe I won, I’m so pleased.”
