Celebrations were the order of the day at a primary school which held its first ever prom.
Pupils at Lound Junior School in Chapeltown donned their best dresses and suits for the occasion, which was held at Niagara Sports Ground in Wadsley Bridge.
Some students also arrived in style in a stretch limousine.
A big cheer went up for Year 6 teacher David Lee, retiring after 19 years with the school.
Pupils deserved to enjoy a night of glamour after helping to pay for the prom.
Year 6 children fundraised with bun stalls, book sales and tombolas, both at school and around the community.
Dozens of prom pictures have been sent in to The Star from schools across the county.
Many of them featured in a special prom supplement which captured all the glitz and fun of prom night last month.
But after another flood of pictures came through, three more pages are to run in the Class Act educational supplement on Tuesday.
Jeremy Clifford, editor of The Star, said: “We had a fantastic response to our prom supplement this year - with more than 20 schools from across the county featuring in the first instance.
“Our photographs captured all the style and celebrations, from colourful ballgowns to the vintage vehicles transporting pupils.
“But there were so many more prom pictures sent in by parents, pupils and teachers afterwards that we have decided to run another three pages of them in Class Act next week.”
