A ROW over a lack of places at a Rotherham primary school is set to be resolved - with the installation of a new mobile classroom.
Parents complained after many were unable to get their youngsters into Flanderwell Primary, after a new housing development increased demand.
Some were instead allocated places in Maltby, Bramley and Thrybergh - up to four miles away.
A council spokesman said: “We realise this is a very important issue for parents and are pleased to announce planning permission for extra capacity at the school has received approval in time for September.”
Parents seeking one of the additional places are being asked to go through the appeals process, as the town’s admissions process has already been completed.
