SCIENCE in sign language is set to scintillate in Sheffield next month.

A special family lecture catering for deaf and hard-of-hearing children will include exciting experiments and explosions – as well as explanations.

The event is being run by city education group Science Brainwaves and is aimed at youngsters aged seven to 12 years old.

An audio track will also accompany presenters Audrey Cameron and Gary Quinn.

The event takes place in the Richard Roberts Auditorium, Western Bank, on Friday August 3 at 6pm.

Tickets are free but need to be reserved by logging on to www.amiando.com/sciencebrainwaves0812.
