A whole school has been involved in the tusk of decorating an elephant for a hospital campaign, with £500 raised already.

To help amass cash for the Sheffield Children’s Hospital’s Make It Better Campaign, children at Armthorpe’s Tranmoor Primary School got busy ‘glamming up’ a baby elephant model.

The colourful elephant calf will join the Little Herd in Sheffield, as part of the biggest mass-participation art event ever held in the city.

Tranmoor’s elephant will join around 70 others to form the Herd of Sheffield Trail this summer.
