BOSSES at a Doncaster shopping centre have announced plans to carry out ‘12 good deeds’ for Doncaster charities and community groups.

The Frenchgate Centre is planning to run 12 fundraisers at various points over the year, with the aim of helping a dozen different organisations.

The first event, Bag It Up, starts this week and runs until February 19. People will be asked to bag up their unwanted clothes and Christmas presents and bring them in to the customer service desk so they can be donated to organisation Dial Doncaster.

Dial Doncaster provides information, confidential advice and support to people with any physical, sensory, learning and mental health disabilities including to people with ill health.

It also provides a service for families, carers and friends of disabled people and for professionals working within the healthcare sector.

Items donated will be sold at Dial Doncaster’s own charity shops in Armthorpe, Intake, Woodlands and Balby.
