ROTHERHAM College of Arts and Technology is set to continue to offer courses in counselling although many classes have been dropped by other institutions.

Students will be based at the Town Centre Campus with access to a wide range of facilities, including the new Wentworth Building that is due to open in September.

Former student Katrina Burrows who studied the Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Counselling referred to her experience at the college as a ‘life changing journey’. Katrina valued the style of learning and enjoyed how it prompted her to broaden the scope of her thinking and research.

After completing her course Katrina later went on to study the BSc Therapeutic Counselling course at Leeds Metropolitan University.
