GOVERNMENT watchdogs have inspected services for children in Derbyshire and rated them good.
Ofsted looked at how well children in the county were kept safe and the quality of services for children in care and care leavers.
The report found that services were good, with good capacity for further improvement.
They found children were safe and felt safe, and that services responded well to children in need.
Youngsters in care, young people and care leavers were all well catered for in their education, employment and training.
To improve further, inspectors advised that the authority continues to develop the quality of social work, education achievement for children in care and mental health services for children.
