Sheffield children sang their hearts out at a special concert for a good cause.

Pupils from local schools united at St John’s Church, Ranmoor, to raise money for Home-Start Sheffield.

The money from ticket sales will go towards supporting over 800 vulnerable children and families across Sheffield and Rotherham.

This was the eighth annual concert of its kind.

Home-Start Sheffield spokesman Jack Scott said: “This was a fantastic day for schools, parents and children.

“We sold almost every ticket and raised a lot of money for young children and families in Sheffield who need some help.

“I’m really grateful to everyone who attended and helped to make it happen.”

Choirs from Lydgate Junior School, Nether Green Infants, St Wilfrid’s Primary Academy, Ecclesall Junior School and Hallam Primary School sang their favourite music and came together as one giant choir for two songs.
