A CHILDREN’S activity centre is being given a facelift with the help of a Sheffield architectural design company.

The Hollowford Centre, based at the edge of Castleton, is owned by the Lindley Educational Trust and has used outdoor activities for the development of children and young people for more than 40 years.

Coda Studios, Mowbray Street, near Kelham Island, has created a £400,000 scheme for the refurbishment and extension of the centre’s facilities, creating nine new bedrooms, including one adapted for wheelchair use.
