SHEFFIELD teenager Sally Scrivener has picked up a top award for her work as a UK Youth Parliament member.
The 16-year-old Sheffield High School pupil was honoured by the British Youth Council during the Youth Voice Awards at their annual reception held in the Houses of Parliament.
Sue Mia, Sheffield Futures spokeswoman, said: “This is a time to reflect on the hard work and remarkable achievements of young people across the country – recognition is given only to those individuals worthy of the accolade.
“We are all chuffed Sally, Sheffield’s own deputy member of youth parliament, has been chosen.
Sally said: “Receiving this award has made me proud to be a member of UKYP.”
