Artwork made from building materials thanks to Sheffield students

Have your say

Students have teamed up with a Sheffield firm to produce an unusual art display.

SIG Interiors and Sheffield Hallam’s Fine Art and Creative Art Practice students worked together on the project which is on display at the SIA gallery in Arundel Street.

The firm gave the students goods including suspended ceilings, partitions, floor systems, glass, blinds and contract flooring and the students had three weeks to turn them into art.

The show is until Thursday and the winning creations will become part of SIG’s spring launch.
