IT’S famous for silver cutlery.

But Sheffield’s Cutlers Hall provided home to a different kind of silverware recently.

Members of the Sheffield Eagles Rugby League Squad popped in to show off the Championship Trophy they won last season after beating Featherstone Rovers in the Co-operative Championship Grand Final.

And while they were there, they were re-united with the Challenge Cup which the Eagles won in 1998 when they beat Wigan to shock the world of Rugby League.

Both trophies are very impressive.

But the Eagles and the Cutlers got to take a look at a trophy that tops the lot - the Rugby League World Cup.

The World Cup finals kick off in Cardiff when England take on Australia on October 26 next year.
