Cannabis plants and cash were seized during raids in Rotherham this morning.
They were carried out as part of an operation aimed at tackling crime and community issues.
The operation involved over 150 police officers and staff from partner agencies.
Superintendent Sarah Poolman said: “Today we have dedicated extensive resources to engaging with our communities and tackling the problems that matter most to them.
"Our officers and staff from partner agencies will be tackling crime and disorder, engaging with vulnerable people and collecting intelligence.
“We are making arrests and clamping down on criminals but we are also building valuable relationships with the Rotherham public at key locations. Today’s operation is about making the police visible, building trust and instilling confidence.”
Partner agencies including Rotherham Council joined officers in a range of activities, including meeting vulnerable elderly and young people, as well as issuing crime prevention advice.
