In 1991 he joined Calow and Brimington practice, where he stayed for eight years before joining Gosforth Valley Medical Practice.

Dr Bull said: “I was genuinely undecided about a career; I didn’t know what I wanted to study at university and initially I applied to study civil engineering, but I became a Christian when I was 17. It was then that I felt I had experienced some divine intervention and been called to do medicine and so hastily changed my application.”

He helped set up the Dronfield 2gether project, aimed at creating a healthier and happier town.
