MOTORISTS are warned of roadworks around Sheffield over the coming days.

Main Road, Warncliffe Side, was due to temporarily close for demolition works at the paper mill for 15 minutes from 10am today.

Tomorrow, Townhead Street, in the city centre, is closed, while temporary traffic lights operate on Western Bank; Whitham Road, Broomhill; Clarkehouse Road, Broomhill; Hollinsend Road at the junction with Mansfield Road, Intake; and Richmond Road, Richmond; while the A61 Meadowhead has a lane closure.

From Monday, Catley Road, Darnall, will be one way in the evenings until Sunday, March 4, for electricity works and Bracken Hill, Burncross has temporary signals until Tuesday, March 6;.

Whitley Lane and School Lane, Grenoside, are closed until Sunday, March 11, for waterworks.

Robin Lane, Beighton, has temporary signals for gas main works until Friday, March 30.

On Tuesday, there are temporary signals on Carlisle Street East, Grimesthorpe, and Stevenson Road, Attercliffe.

Prince of Wales Road, Manor, has a lane closure during off-peak hours from Tuesday until Saturday, March 3.

Deep Lane, Shiregreen, is closed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, for railway bridge maintenance.

Wisewood Avenue is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday at the junction of Hallowmoor Road for the construction of a raised junction, while Twentywell Lane has temporary signals from Wednesday to Saturday, March 3.

On Thursday evening, Chesterfield Road, Woodseats, has temporary signals and Penistone Road, Shalesmoor, will have a lane closure.
