A PENSIONER has been jailed for five years at Sheffield Crown Court after causing a smash on a South Yorkshire motorway in which a young woman died.
Jemma O’Sullivan, aged 22, from Reading, pictured, died.
Christopher Kane, aged 67, from Oakbank Close, Swinton, Rotherham, had pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving at a previous hearing.
The collision happened on September 3, 2010, and involved four vehicles on the northbound, inside lane of the M18 a mile and a half before junction two at Wadworth, Doncaster. Kane was banned from driving for five years.
