Driver flees after police chase in Sheffield
South Yorkshire Police said a car failed to stop for officers in Jordanthorpe in the early hours of Tuesday and was followed by officers.
The car crashed in Leighton Road, Gleadless Valley, and the driver fled.
The police chase started at around 12.30am on Tuesday.

Hide AdA South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "At around 12.30am on Tuesday, it is reported that a vehicle failed to stop for police in the Jordanthorpe area of Sheffield.
"Following a short pursuit, the car is reported to have been involved in a collision in Leighton Road.
"The occupant, or occupants, of the car are understood to have fled the scene and a number of resources were sent to the area to search.
"The search was negative and enquiries are ongoing."
