A DRIVER was seriously injured when his car crashed into a lorry on a Doncaster motorway in the early hours of yesterday.
Police today appealed for witnesses to come forward if they saw the serious collision that happened just after midnight on the A1(M) between junction 36 at Warmsworth and J35 at Wadworth.

A red Seat Leon was then in collision with the Honda after it had stopped in the middle lane.
Doncaster and Edlington fire crews were called out and used cutting gear to remove the roof from the Honda because the driver was trapped.
The driver of the Honda, a 56-year-old man from Retford in North Nottinghamshire, sustained serious chest and head injuries.
He was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary and detained.
The driver of the Seat, a 30-year-old man from Great Ayton, Middlesbrough, sustained minor back injuries. He was also taken to DRI but was not detained.
The lorry driver, a man aged 48 from Nuneaton in Warwickshire, escaped without injury.
