I WAS out on the Moor one lunch time before Easter. There was unbroken sunshine, which gave the ladies the opportunity to put on their favourite items of clothing - ugly trousers. At a rough estimate, there were probably two ladies in trousers, shorts or leggings for every one in a skirt or dress. And this was a perfect spring day. Does practicality outweigh prettiness? Has feminism defeated femininity in fashion?
