A DEVOTED Sheffield United fan with a rare disease has been given a dream ticket to Wembley.
Schoolboy Dylan Cartledge, who suffers from muscle-weakening condition juvenile dermatomyositis, will be part of the red and white army descending on the capital today - thanks to generous club bosses.
The six-year-old, of Herringthorpe, Rothertham has mobility due to his illness, but has shown determination to get moving again, drawing inspiration from his Blades heroes.
Dylan’s occupational therapist Michelle Loveley, from Sheffield Children’s Hospital, contacted United and they arranged for him to get tickets to the big game.
His mum Theresa Cartledge said: “Basically his immune system is working overtime and killing healthy cells in his body. Ten weeks ago he couldn’t lift his head up so he is doing really well. The aim is to build his muscles back up because he really enjoys playing football. Michelle told us he had got some tickets and he was really excited.”
