Money raised by a Sheffield campaign for justice has boosted two good causes.
David Cryer, who has raised funds in memory of his son Matthew since he was unlawfully killed on his first holiday abroad aged 17, handed over a £250 donation to the appeal for a new war memorial in Frecheville.
Another £250 was also given to the Shukokai Karate Academy, based in Arbourthorne.
David said: “A race day also collected another £750 for the war memorial appeal.
“It’s local people who put money into Matthew’s fund so it is good to give them something back.”
