IT’S a disgrace when neighbours hound a pensioner who harms no-one.
They say dolls belonging to Doreen Gubby are a fire hazard. But they are from this.
They are at the very top of a cabinet away from the fire. Underneath are china figures and other ornaments. These do not represent a fire hazard. Is it neighbours who have little to do?
The housing office should leave the tenant alone. This is her home. Why should what the old lady keeps in her flat be the concern of neighbours?
Tenants who complain have little to do and should find work of some kind. They would be better occupied earning a living and have little time for hounding an old age pensioner.
