A Doncaster town centre building has been sealed off this afternoon amid fears it could collapse.
The building at the rear of the Old Angel pub off Cleveland Street has been cordoned off by Doncaster Council.
Fences have been erected around masonry on the site after it was reported to council employees this morning.
A source said that the decision had been taken to cordon off the building after workers discovered that the whole wall was moving.
The building, which is behind the Alpha taxi office, has been in a state of disrepair for several years and a large crack is now visible through the plasterwork.
Bricks and crumbling stonework are also visible and cars parked in the area have been moved as a precaution.
The yard between the Old Angel and Alpha serves as a car park for several premises in the area and is also used to store bins and waste from several pubs.
Attempts are now being made to trace the owner of the building.
