Doncaster born Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson has denied using the n-word in a TV race row.

The controversial presenter was supposedly caught using the racist term while filming for the motoring show.

In the unseen footage – later edited out – the host is seen swinging his finger between two cars, while reciting children’s counting rhyme “eeny, meeny, miny, moe.”

He can be heard chanting: “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...” He then allegedly mumbles: “Catch a n***** by his toe”.

Clarkson, 54, has denied using the n-word and said he has “never” used it.

He was accused by the Daily Mirror of using the language but he told his 3.2 million Twitter followers: “I did not use the n-word. Never use it. The Mirror has gone way too far this time.”
