Fire crews were called to the Tesco supermarket car park in Doncaster town centre early today when a bin caught fire.

The crews spent about half an hour at Church View putting out the flames from the paper recycling container after it was reported at 1.10am.

The cause has been put down as accidental.

Doncaster crews were also called to Clarence Avenue, Balby, on Saturday when a wheelie bin accidentally caught fire.
